League Relaunches Website Ahead of Season 21

by Cameron Irvine

The Simulation Football League presented by APM Music has partnered with FootballShift and is proud to welcome you to its new and improved website, that will be updated with team rosters, the league schedule and historical stats leading up to Season 21's kickoff July 28 at the 2023 Convention in Cincinnati, Ohio. As we prepare for this historical season, here's what you can expect out of our new website:

Score ticker

Our ticker at the top of our site will feature all the games on the schedule and will offer previews that include matchup history and team leaders. Hovering over the ticker will offer links that take you directly to the box score and the live game link.

Teams Suite

Our teams dropdown takes you to new team pages, that feature player stats, the team roster, its schedule and scores. You can easily go from one team to the next using the choose team dropdown menu. Team staff will also be featured in this section.

Players Suite

Our player pages have received major upgrades, with the ability for players to add a photo and bio of themselves to the league website. Player pages will feature season and career stats, along with an individual game log.

Player Movement

Our new transactions page will show when a player has moved from one team to the next in the off-season so you can keep up with all the activity around the league during Free Agent Frenzy.

Enhanced Coverage

Our team of content creators will have new features debuting throughout the season. New stars of the game and Players of the Month awards will further spotlight the shining stars of the SFL gridiron.

Leaderboard Upgrades

Our new leaders section will break out the top five of key statistical categories. Leaders can now be broken down by division, for further bragging rights and all-division honors. Playoff brackets are back and Championship history memorializes the greats.

Easier Access to Previous Seasons

Go back to a previous season's schedule, standings, playoffs or leaderboards all from our all-in-one stats hub.

Increased Multimedia

Watch highlights, full games and content creators all from our website.

Backend Upgrades

We've made it easier to import and move players, input box scores and keep data moving, for every part of the league calendar.

With these improvements in partnership with DigitalShift, the SFL is poised to dramatically increase its web presence and coverage of the SFL for years to come. It's the first investment in its web presence since moving from DakStats to SportsPress in Season 9.
