SFL names Season 9 Developmental Team
The Simulation Football League today announced this season's Developmental Team, reserved for rookies who have been drafted in the 4K23 era or who signed with teams mid-season that need the most development and playing time at the minor league level to better their careers. These players will progress at the minor league level during SFL Season 22 while continuing to play for their major league team. They will also participate in SFLm Season 9 this off-season as veteran players, to be drafted in the Developmental Draft later this off-season.
Each SFL season, the DEV team is re-evaluated to ensure the players with the least amount of development are getting the most opportunity.
All DEV players will progress in the minor league of the player portal and all ledgers will be transferred over to that active contract. The following lists the player, their position, their overall rating prior to SFL Season 22 and where they were drafted. The cut line this season was a 66 overall rating on defense/special teams and a 65 overall rating on offense, based on the in-game rating metrics.
